Many of us are going things we don't talk to others about. Feeling sad, alone and anxious about what was, what is happening, or what is going to happen.
For all of us who have a child with cancer, estranged children, death of a child or parent, broken relationships, dysfunctional relationships, surgery coming up, recovering from surgery,. Manipulated, defensiveness, It sucks, it's hard.
All those sticky feelings that we don't want to let go off, can let go of we feel stuck, unsure, confused, unheard. Feeding into the fear, the anger, the sadness we are broken, we are hallow, we are numb.
Standing up in the fear we remember where we have been, we remember we have got through all the lose, pain and rage. We worked through all that has broken us and survived, we stood up courageous, stronger, and braver.
Cry, breathe, pause, sit in silence, reflect.
Journal, meditate, colour, call a friend, get out in nature, walk. What has worked in the past? What tools do you have that helped you in the past?
It is time to have a conversation with self.
Remember the abundance out there, the love, the happiness, look through the photos in the scrapbook of your life, of your mind, your heart.
The path we are on today is ours and we can keep walking back over the bridge and rehashing things or we move forward through and past, the pain and change our direction, our mindset, our response to now, to our future.
If you are stopped on the bridge and can do nothing today, but wait and see what is happening, look down into the reflection of yourself in the water and see the beautiful bold brave woman you are.
Feel the sunshine, surrounding you, feel the rays of of love, covering you, receive the strength, hope, and health that God has for you. Know God has a purpose of you, that is working through you.
Open your heart, your mind and shine brighter, and stronger knowing this to shall pass.
I am brave enough, strong enough, to get through this. You are brave enough, strong enough, to get through this.
Dig deep inside, you can do this. This is just another opportunity to grow, shine. It may be a day to feel the anger, sadness, fear, numbness and rest.
Have you got a happy place, a safe space in your home, a chair, pull up the blanket, read a book, watch a comedy, get a tea.
What will calm your thoughts, your heart, your mind?
You can lose a relationship, a loved one, your health, but don't lose yourself.
Connect to self Remember to take care of you, love you, trust you.
